TRANSFORMER REPAIR
Mini-substation and power transformer maintenance services – Both internationally and here in South Africa, the cost of maintaining enterprises that rely on robust loads of electricity is strangling many initiatives. especially within the building and construction sector. Semeg now offers a complete service for Sub-Saharan clients in the construction or mining sectors to increase production efficiency in this regard. We provide ongoing onsite audits, which not only provide the status of the transformers or mini-substations but also produce a full asset list to promote complete transparency and control. The installation consists of connections to the 1200kW chipper motor and air-cooled transformers, motor control centres (MCCs), medium voltage switchgear and the outgoing currents from the MCCs to the various drives.

NNN electrical scope of works comprises, among other things, the installation of equipment in substations including the transformers, the supply and installation of cable racking, plus the supply and installation of power and control cables – including terminations – in accordance with the electrical scope.
